Yao Song

Yao Song is Chief of Web3 at ZEN.COM, a position she has held since August 2024. In this C-level role within the Product department, she leads the company's Web3 mandate. Since March 2021, she has also served as Head of Crypto Web3 BD at ZEN.COM, where her stated responsibilities include building a compliant on/off-ramp fiat payment gateway for centralised exchanges and crypto-related businesses, constructing commercial offers, conducting negotiations, coordinating with internal AML, risk, and compliance teams, managing product integrations with technical teams on both sides, and maintaining client relationships alongside market and regulatory monitoring.

Prior to her current dual roles, she held the positions of Head of Business Development and BD Manager at ZEN.COM between March 2021 and April 2022, focusing on digital assets B2B partnerships. Before joining ZEN.COM, she served as Head of Business Operations at BitBay from November 2017 to December 2018, where her responsibilities included setting strategic operational and marketing plans, leading execution teams, evaluating ICO tokens and coins for listing, and building strategic partnerships. She is also the founder of Y.S Consulting, an advisory and business development practice operating across Asia and Europe covering crypto projects, e-commerce, software, and gaming, active since April 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environment Art Design from Dalian Polytechnic University, where she studied from 1998 to 2002.
