Lee Walker is Technical Team Lead at Crypto.com, focused on Derivatives North America, a position he has held since March 2023. He joined Crypto.com in January 2023 as a Technical Specialist before moving into the team lead role two months later.

Walker has 21 years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership, with the majority of his career spent at IG Group, where he worked from September 2008 to January 2023. At IG, he held roles including Java Developer, Technical Team Lead, and Technical Specialist, developing high throughput, low latency multi-threaded services for financial services. His technical specialisms include Java, REST, FIX, JMS, microservices, TDD, BDD, clean architecture, Spring, CI/CD pipelines, and OpenAPI, among others. Earlier in his career he worked as a Java/Web Developer at Electronic Data Systems, where he contributed to mission-critical information systems for the Royal Navy and the Army. He holds a first-class BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Hull, completed in 2004. He is based in the Greater Guildford area of the United Kingdom.
