Ernesto Olmedo Pereira is Head of Strategy & DeFi at Qivalis, a financial services firm headquartered in Amsterdam, a position he has held since March 2026. CFO, Qivalis
Floris Lugt is Chief Financial Officer at Qivalis, the Amsterdam-based joint venture formed by ING and a consortium of European banks to launch a euro-denominated stablecoin. He took up the CFO role at the start of 2026.
Before joining Qivalis, Lugt was Lead Digital Assets, Wholesale Banking at ING, and earlier held roles in treasury and financial risk at ING and ING France. He focuses on distributed ledger technology and its applications in wholesale banking, and advocates for industry-wide standards for digital payments and financial market infrastructure across Europe.
Head of Partnerships Capital Markets
Martijn Siebrand is Head of Partnerships Capital Markets at Qivalis, a position he has held since September 2026. He is responsible for building the partnerships that connect Qivalis to capital markets participants.
He joined ABN AMRO Bank in 2020 within the digital assets team, first as lead of project Pyctor, an effort to build a decentralised vault for security tokens alongside ten other financial institutions, then as Digital Assets Program Manager and Ecosystem Manager within Strategy & Innovation. In that role he worked on the bank's tokenised securities initiatives, including the registration of its first digital bond on a public blockchain and a digital green bond issuance, and on connecting the bank to the wider digital asset ecosystem. He has worked in finance since 2007 and on financial innovation since 2014, and is based in the Netherlands.
