Anthony Vassallo is Senior Vice President, Crypto at Silicon Valley Bank, where he focuses on providing banking support to venture-backed blockchain companies. He has eight years of experience at SVB supporting the innovation economy, and is an NFT collector and active participant in the crypto space.

Prior to his current role, Vassallo served as Senior Product Manager at SVB, focused on commercial lending. He also has experience in underwriting and portfolio management, supporting early- to late-stage technology and healthcare companies. Before joining SVB, he held a Senior Associate position in consulting at the firm from 2016 to 2019, following earlier roles that included an Account Executive position at Oracle and a Strategy Associate role at R/GA working on the Los Angeles Dodgers Accelerator. Vassallo holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, a master's degree in entrepreneurship and innovation, and a post-graduate case fellowship, all from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He also holds a certificate from The Wharton School. He was born and raised in Silicon Valley and is based in Austin, Texas.

Verina Hanien is Vice President, Crypto at Silicon Valley Bank, based in New York, where she works on SVB's Crypto team helping venture-backed companies with banking infrastructure, capital strategy, and digital asset solutions. She brings seven years of experience across fintech, crypto, and traditional finance. Her focus includes stablecoins and their role in building more efficient and inclusive financial infrastructure.

Prior to SVB, Hanien held client management roles at Web3-native startups, worked on strategic partnerships at Coinbase, and held business development and product roles within J.P. Morgan Payments. She holds a bachelor of business administration in economics from Baruch College and a data analytics certificate from Columbia University.

Weston Betts is Senior Manager, BSA AML - Blockchain at Silicon Valley Bank, a position he has held since May 2022. Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, his role sits within the First Line of Defense - EDD Crypto function, focusing on Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering compliance as it applies to blockchain and digital assets. He holds CAMS and CCAS certifications.

Prior to his current compliance-focused mandate, Betts served as Vice President at Silicon Valley Bank from May 2020 to May 2022, where his responsibilities included sourcing and managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and advising C-level executives on financial matters, with a focus on VC-backed companies in the software and technology sectors. Before joining Silicon Valley Bank, he was Sales Director at Patron Technology from June 2019 to March 2020, and prior to that held a Director of Business Development role at Blockparty beginning in April 2018. His total professional experience spans approximately 14 years.
