Anthony Vassallo is Senior Vice President, Crypto at Silicon Valley Bank, where he focuses on providing banking support to venture-backed blockchain companies. Prior to his current role, Vassallo served as Senior Product Manager at SVB, focused on commercial lending. Weston Betts is Senior Manager, BSA AML - Blockchain at Silicon Valley Bank, a position he has held since May 2022. Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, his role sits within the First Line of Defense - EDD Crypto function, focusing on Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering compliance as it applies to blockchain and digital assets. Prior to his current compliance-focused mandate, Betts served as Vice President at Silicon Valley Bank from May 2020 to May 2022, where his responsibilities included sourcing and managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and advising C-level executives on financial matters, with a focus on VC-backed companies in the software and technology sectors. Before joining Silicon Valley Bank, he was Sales Director at Patron Technology from June 2019 to March 2020, and prior to that held a Director of Business Development role at Blockparty beginning in April 2018. His total professional experience spans approximately 14 years.
