Max Rothman is Head of Web3 Digital Assets at Checkout.com, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, a position he has held since April 2021. He also holds the title of Head of Regulated Markets at the same firm. Within this role, he leads Checkout.com's push into crypto, working with clients including Crypto.com and Coinbase. He was previously VP Crypto at Checkout.com, a title referenced in a March 2023 company blog post in which he described being asked to lead the firm's crypto initiative upon joining. He first joined Checkout.com in June 2019, initially in a business development capacity, before moving into the crypto-focused mandate.

Prior to Checkout.com, Rothman served as Business Development Manager at Payoneer from October 2017 to June 2019, based in London, and held a role at Monese from January to September 2017. Before entering fintech, he founded MaxBet in September 2011, a brokerage he ran for over five years that generated an annual average turnover of more than £2.8 million. He has described his transition into fintech as driven by an interest in optimising that business through technology. Rothman holds a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Economics from the University of Bristol, and completed A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and Physics at Cranleigh School.

Scott Ridley is Crypto Vertical Lead and Senior Manager, Crypto Account Management at Checkout.com, based in London. He assumed the Crypto Vertical Lead position in January 2025, having served as Senior Manager, Crypto Account Management since March 2024. Both roles are held concurrently with a Customer Success Manager position at the company, which he has held since March 2022. His work in the crypto vertical has included recruiting account management talent focused on serving crypto and iGaming merchants across Europe and the UK.

Prior to Checkout.com, Ridley was a Customer Success Manager at OpenPayd from August 2021 to March 2022, a London-based financial services infrastructure firm. Before that, he spent two years at American Express as a Corporate FX Account Manager. He holds a first-class honours degree in Accountancy and Finance from Canterbury Christ Church University and holds a CMI Level 5 Diploma, an APM Project Management Certificate, and a Bloomberg Markets Concept Certificate. He achieved a score of 500 (73rd percentile) in the Bloomberg Aptitude Test. His professional background spans sales, foreign exchange, crypto, and business management, with total experience across these fields of approximately 12 years.

Yu'Ai Seet is iGaming Vertical Lead, Account Management at Checkout.com, a position she has held since January 2025. She concurrently serves as Sr. Account Manager covering Crypto and iGaming, a role she has held since August 2022. Based in New York, her work sits at the intersection of client success and strategic account management, with a focus on the crypto, digital assets, and iGaming sectors.

Seet joined Checkout.com in January 2021 as a Customer Success Manager in Singapore, before transitioning into a Customer Success role covering Digital Assets and Currencies across Singapore and New York from January to August 2022. Prior to Checkout.com, she spent approximately two years at Flywire in Singapore, first as a Customer Success Associate from December 2017, then as a Client Success Manager from April 2019 to December 2020, where she worked with clients post-onboarding to integrate Flywire's technology into their operations. Her total professional experience spans nearly twelve years.
