Self-custody: towards mandatory declaration of crypto wallets from €5,000 in France

An amendment adopted in committee paves the way for mandatory declaration of portfolios not managed by third parties (Ledger, MetaMask). This measure brings crypto taxation into line with foreign accounts, but raises major concerns about data security.
